About the Artist
I have worked as an interior designer for 35 years, and the past few years I have developed a passion for working with clay. When I am not designing, I can be found in my pottery studio researching, studying, and lovingly crafting creatures and objects from clay. Iā€™m inspired by nature and animals and strive to capture their grace and presence while also adding a touch of whimsy to my creations.

Though a lifelong Lancaster County resident, I have traveled abroad and drawn inspiration from centuries-old art and traditions. I combine throwing, pinching, and hand building then fire to cone 6 in an electric kiln. I love clay and glaze and am always researching and experimenting with new techniques.

My husband and I lost our beloved dog, Koko, who was taken far too young.  In his 4 short years with us, he taught us about love, loyalty, happiness, innocence, and perseverance in the face of illness. I dedicate my work to his memory.
