The Getaway…
“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”
~Mae West
Turns out all I needed was a bit of sunshine, warm weather, a golf course, pool, and my husband.
I forget how important it is to walk away from the every day, breathe in the fresh morning air, listen to nature, feel gentle breezes, and not hold a schedule, to clear out the cobwebs.
That is exactly what we are doing this week. I was raised in the belief of the importance of vacations. We took them every year when I was growing up. Packed up the Ford Falcon station wagon, and off we went.
My grown up self needs to do this more. It's clarifying and restorative.
As juried results are coming in for the outdoor show season, it is shaping up to be a busy 2026, or as busy as I want it to be. My focus this year is to obligate less, and concentrate more, quite contrary to my personality.
Here is an abbreviated list of what has been confirmed so far. All the information will be on my website under upcoming events linked below.
